What if you acted on what you believe?

Oh My Dear Ones,
If ever you needed to believe in the absolute truth of our sovereign God it is NOW. But you must base your beliefs on the truth of God’s Word and not on man’s ideas of what God’s Word does or does not say. Subjective truth can lead you down a path of confusion.
Objective truth is focused on God and His character and will allow you to live your life with confidence in the one who created you.
Every day brings changes in what we are told to believe with certainty. How can we be sure of anything? The character of people we trust disc ingrates in a 24-hour period. Medicine that we thought was a sure-fire guarantee to help us suddenly becomes dangerous and pulled from the market, institutions that once seemed impervious to corruption are exposed for fraudulent practices, and Christians, yes, those we believed to be God honoring, become publicly disgraced.
At my stage in life, it is easy to spend time reflecting on all the amazing works of God. The realization of human potential is just overwhelming. However, at the same time I say with confidence that we are facing a crisis of disbelief. We must recapture the faith of our fathers and restore the confidence in a God who is all-knowing and most certainly all-wise.
My dear husband Bill Bright taught so well the attributes of a triune God and how we should see Him as Creator, Savior, and Judge.
What do you believe? When you begin each day, you go into it with certain presuppositions…you meet a schedule…you fulfill obligations to show up at work on time, why? Because you believe it is the right thing to do. You feed your body because you are hungry and you believe that eating food will satisfy your hunger. You act on what you believe. If Christians lived what they profess to believe our world would be changed quickly.
Do you live your life believing what you see or seeing what you believe?
Confidence in your creator and the character of the God in whom you believe gives you the ability to act and live with purpose. If you think seriously about the challenges and opportunities of each day it all comes down to what you believe. Do you believe there is more to life than today? Do you believe there is a supreme being in control of this world?
Please ask the Holy Spirit to help you accept the truth of God’s word and be able to state with full confidence: This I Believe!
