A college professor gave a pop quiz to her students.  One conscientious student breezed through the questions until he read the last one.  It said:

“What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?”

The student didn’t know the answer.  He asked the professor if the last question would count toward his grade.

The professor said, “Absolutely.  In your life you will meet many people.  All are significant.  They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say “hello.”

Dear friend, Jesus cares equally for all people.  So follow His example.

Smile at someone who serves you today.  Perhaps it’s a waitress, cashier or bank employee. Tell them how much you appreciate them.

By the way, the student never forgot that lesson.  The cleaning lady’s name was Dorothy!

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Col 3:12-13
