The Power of a Dollar Bill

Have you ever found something really valuable?

Consider the man who found a dollar bill on the sidewalk.  From that day on... he kept his eyes focused on the ground.

During his lifetime, he picked up seven quarters, eleven dimes, twenty-one nickels, and a hundred eighty-two pennies. 

His legacy?  A bent back... and a miserly disposition!

That's what happens when you keep your eyes focused on the wrong goal... when you're looking only for things of this world rather than the things of Christ!

So what's your goal today?

Is it merely making "money," or are you searching for that true treasure that only comes, as you "Turn your eyes upon Jesus." 

It's then when..."The things of earth will grow strangely dim... in the light of His glory and grace!"

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.    —Hebrews 12:2

Friends, we must keep our focus on Jesus.
