Because GOD IS FAITHFUL, I can be sure He always keeps His promises!

God's faithfulness is so much a part of who He is that He cannot become unfaithful to anyone.
Bill Bright, Discover God

Actions speak louder than words... right?

So what do you tell your children when they hear leaders talk about integrity and upholding the law and then watch as those same individuals try to justify their own unethical behavior? Our children sometimes see reality better than we do. They recognize that the leader is often sorry only after he/she gets caught.

Broken promises abound. You can probably think of a few that hurt you deeply. None of us are immune. They color our thinking and can easily spill over into our view of God.

If you want your children to grow up with an unwavering confidence that God will do what He says He'll do, you must be teach them that God is Faithful - He ALWAYS keeps His promises.

  • Because God is All Powerful, He is strong enough to carry out every promise,
  • Because God is Totally Truthful, He can never lie about a promise.
  • Because God is Unchanging, His promises are the same yesterday, today and forever.
  • Because God is Everywhere at once, He is perfectly capable of fulfilling His promises for everyone everywhere.

God is the only One who is perfectly capable and committed to fulfilling every single one of His promises!

If your children begin to doubt His Faithfulness, before long they will begin to view Him with the same skepticism with which we have sadly come to view many of our leaders.
