Influence Others - Do What's Right
Role Play with your children how they will handle it when someone asks them to do something they know is wrong. They may even have an opportunity to choose to do what's right this week! Their friends may ask them to do something or watch something that God wouldn't want them to. Encourage them to choose to do what's right and say no, but to do it with love in their voice. (Example: "I'm sorry, I can't. God loves me so much and He doesn't want that to hurt me or my mind.") Prepare them for the fact that their friends may not understand, but they have planted a seed about God's love that may grow later. Their friends may have more questions and want to talk about God's love. Be sure your children know you are there to help them answer their friends questions.
