Family Story:

Have the authors in your family write their own story about obeying instructions (like Sunija's story) and why it's important. If you really like the story, send it to us and we may be able to post it on the website!

Journal Jots:

Encourage your children to write about what they learned from the Cookie recipe Contest and how this relates to God being right 100% of the time.

Or...

Write a letter to God telling Him how they feel when friends pressure them to do what's wrong and ask Him to help them do what's right.

Hang it on the wall!!

Many institutions censor the Ten Commandments, but your children can still hang them on their own bedroom wall! Have them make their own wall hanging or picture of the Ten Commandments! You can click on The Ten Commandments and print them directly if you like. Your kids can color the page and hang it on their bedroom wall as a reminder of His Love. Talk to them about the fact that these are not the Ten Suggestions. God commands us to keep them because He knows how much pain it will cause when we break them. The greatest heartache of all is that our disobedience affects our relationship with Him.

Celebrate God's Righteousness!

Using a big piece of paper, make a flag/banner with "God is Always Right" on it. Encourage everyone to write a thank you note to God and draw pictures on the banner, telling Him why they are glad He's always right. Have a family dinner with special touches (table cloth, candles, etc.) and celebrate how He demonstrates His love for you through His instructions! Praise Him as a family for His righteousness and that our family's lives are blessed because He is always right.
